Carpenter Ant
Carpenter Ants seek out damaged wood. Water damage, rot, or old termite activity are typical attractant areas. We can treat with mild bait if necessary, however, let’s work together to determine the best solution.

Wood Destroying Insect Inspection (WDI)
Buying, selling, or refinancing your home? Chances are you’ll be required or want a “Wood Destroying Insect” Inspection. Our written report documents visible and accessible evidence of infestation or damage by wood-destroying insects. We inspect for the following insects: termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, powder-post beetles, and old-house borer beetles. Additionally we investigate water damage, plumbing leaks, and insect/ rodent friendly conditions, such as earth-to-wood contact that typically contributes to infestations.

Other services we provide:

An introduction to potential pests:

Mice/Rats
Exclude and remove clutter! Our services include finding entry points, trapping, and exclusion. There are better ways to deal with rodents than rodent baits. The risk of using rodent poisons in your home can be dangerous to children and pets as well as having fatality occur in places that are not accessible for cleanup. Do NOT clean up mouse or rat droppings until after our inspection; they provide useful information to our technician and may cause significant health risk to you or your family. Let our experts provide you with information on proper cleaning techniques.

Cockroaches
Most people try to deal with roach issues on their own. Many over-the-counter treatments can be purchased all claiming to solve your problem. Truth be told, many of these treatments can worsen the situation by driving roaches deeper into walls where they find shelter and a dark quiet place to breed. Additionally, the risk to your home, children, pets, neighbors, and your health is not worth the aggravation.

Fleas
Avoid potential explosions and fires by bug bomb miss-use. Rely on our experience to tackle this problem before it spreads. Remedies do not have to be complicated or expensive, particularly if caught early on.

Stored Food Insects
Pantry Pests are one of the most common intrusive household insect dilemmas. Many insects invade stored dried foods. Throwing away suspect groceries can be a costly endeavor and still may not solve the problem.

Powder-post Beetles
Powder-post beetles cause structural infestation confusion by homeowners and contractors alike. Determining if an infestation is active or not will provide information on accurate treatment methods. An incorrect diagnosis may results in unnecessary treatment and/or added construction expense

Stored Product Pest
This is one of the most common household insect problems. Many different kinds of insects invade stored, dried foods and are often referred to as “pantry pests.”

Powderpost Beetles
Powderpost beetles cause more confusion than any other structure-infesting pest. Both homeowners and contractors make mistakes in determining if an infestation is active and, if so, how it should be managed. Incorrect information results in unnecessary treatments and or expense. Let us take a look.

Silverfish
Primarily a nuisance insect, found in homes or buildings. Silverfish can contaminate food, damage paper goods, and stain clothing. Many of their habits are similar to cockroaches.

Spiders
Spiders are beneficial just not in your bedroom. Let us help.
